QDA linear sensor sensors use a unique thin-film pyroelectric material PZT, which provides high resolution and performance in a wide range of infrared wavelengths.
The electronic ASIC reading output is a multiplexed, amplified and filtered analog signal for each sensor element. The sensor is housed in a low-profile sealed metal housing together with a temperature sensor and can be installed in various filter windows.

Thin-film pyroelectric food sensors are reduced in size and provide high sensitivity at high frequency response, which allows the use of this highly stable 2-element sensor in the TO39 housing. The sensing element is integrated into a low-noise circuit, which has an internal CMOS operational amplifier with a 10-GOm feedback resistor that outputs a voltage signal in the center of the supply bus.
